Times are hard in the artist community right now
As COVID-19 continues to spread and spark concerns globally, Independent music artists and performers are being heavily impacted due to the cancelation of events and the inability to book concerts in the near future. Most do not qualify for unemployment benefits or for the limited number of COVID-19 artist funds. That is why we set up our fund. We provide independent artists with an additional stimulus that is more accessible, supporting local performers.

We won't sit by as our small businesses struggle to remain in business.
The COVID-19 Pandemic has taken us all by surprise. We did not anticipate the complete loss of business across the board. We are seeing legendary music venues closing their doors permanently. In a market that is tough, to begin with, the results of our global situation are crushing. We are here to help small California businesses suffering from a loss of business due to the CoronaVirus, particularly but not limited to womxn owned and/or operated businesses in the music industry.
They need us now more than ever.

cwm-Wellness Enrichment Fund

Our community is a safety net.
We want to ensure that womxn and girls in California can engage in enrichment and wellness programs and events. Extracurricular education, exposure to culture, and social activities are highly important in one's personal and professional development. Experiencing and creating art is a fulfilling and often healing process, much needed in today's interconnected way of life. We want everyone to get the financial support they need to take part in such activities. Awareness and access to mental health resources and care need to rise in our communities and it takes funding. We want to make sure the powerful tools of growth and self-care are available to all who need it, and that a lack of resources won't stand in their way.
